Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy

This policy sets out the standards expected of everyone using FinanceHub Kenya, to keep the Platform safe, trustworthy, and useful for all users.

2. Prohibited Conduct

While using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information about yourself or an institution.
• Impersonate a financial institution or another user.
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform without permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or FinanceHub Kenya staff.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose under Kenyan law.

3. Institution-Specific Obligations

Institutions must ensure all product listings and advertisements are accurate, lawful, and reflect currently available terms. Institutions must hold any license required by their sector regulator to offer the products they list.

4. Consequences of Violation

Violating this policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination, at our discretion, without prior notice where necessary.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this policy, please report it to hello@financehubkenya.com.
